Welcome
I’m happy you’re here.
My name is Tina Williams, and I’m a content writer and researcher passionate about art history, expression and social development. The patterns of history interest me, and I love telling stories.

More about me
I grew up in a quiet farm town, which meant that I had lots of time to read and collect books. My love of literature started with the heroic tales of ancient Greek Mythology. This is also where I developed my flair for the dramatic.
Men and Gods by Rex Warner became my childhood favourite, and before long, social commentaries such as Animal Farm and Frankenstein became my obsession. These books taught me that powerful writing doesn’t just educate the reader, it challenges their beliefs and creates a conversation.

Education
The majority of the books I read reflected a life that existed long before I was born.
I became curious to learn more about the past, and that curiosity led me to Lakehead University, where I majored in History.

After graduating, I jumped right into a postgraduate program in Communications and Professional Writing at Humber College. Here I learned the vital skills that now shape my writing.
Hobbies that fuel me
Travel is one of my favourite hobbies. Despite being a nervous flyer, I love taking a break from my life and visiting a new place.
I try not to be an obvious tourist. I want to blend in, people-watch, and observe a lifestyle that is different from the norms back home. So far, I’ve travelled to countries in the Caribbean and South America, but I have plans to see every continent.
Apart from my love of travelling, I am passionate about health and fitness. My brief experience as a nursing assistant taught me the importance of taking care of yourself from a young age. I’m not a star athlete by any means, but I do try to care for my body, mind and soul.
