My Creative Process
I’m an avid planner. Although I appreciate the freedom of spontaneous creativity, the majority of my work is created through a multi-step process that allows space for feedback, collaboration and adaptation.
Step one: Research
Whether I am conducting market research, crafting customer personas, checking social media analytics or digging through art historical archives, research is the first foundational step in my creative process.
Step two: Decide & draft
Next, initial drafts and designs are crafted. This usually occurs after collaborative meetings with clients and coworkers to develop the purpose, tone, length and timeline for a project. Once these decisions are made, I can get to work.
Step three: Finalization
The final step involves polishing the work to perfection. After the drafts are presented, I take the feedback, corrections and tips given by clients to improve and finalize the project.
